Hello void, hello world!
I am just writing a quick journal entry in order to make concrete a mission I've long tabled, a desire I've long stoked and am now prepared to let erupt in flame. I am going to write and pursue the publication of my first ever comic book. I've already drafted a script for a first issue and am in the process of searching for an artistic collaborator (someone with whom to share both the labor as well as the intellectual property) because I am probably too poor to afford to pay a seasoned professional. I am excited about the possibility of working with another artistic mind, one who influence the way I work, and vice-versa.
Anyway, that's my story, nay, my mission. And I plan on making it happen. If you are artist interested in working on a book that I can handily sum up as X-Men meets BioShock, meets LOST, meets The Walking Dead, meets Avatar: The Last Airbender, with a whole bunch more thrown in, send me a message. We might have some stuff to talk about. Otherwise, let's all pursue are dreams in 2014! Take the ether from inside our heads, our hearts, and build something to see, to stand on, to live in!
